What is a Stand and what is its height?
This is the highest peak of the Borzhava massif - 1681 meters. It sits on the southern ridge of the Borzhava mountain range in Transcarpathia.
What is interesting at the top?
There used to be a Soviet radar station here, but it was removed a long time ago. Now, on the mountain, you only catch wind and views, not radars.
What to see on the road and on the slopes?
The western slopes are covered with beech forests, the southern slopes are meadows and meadows. In the north, a glacial lake hides, and all around - protected plants from the Red Book, such as mountain pine.
What should be considered when climbing?
The western slopes are steep and wooded, so don't expect an easy walk. The southern side is gentler - it is more humane to climb from there.
Why are these places guarded?
On the western slopes, the Rosishny reserve is spread out, and rare species from the Red Book grow on the meadows. So it's not just beautiful here, but also under protection.
