This is an evergreen coniferous tree of the cypress family - and the tallest plant on the planet. The record holder named Hyperion stretches for 115.5 meters, so you will have to stretch your neck a lot.

A thin strip along the Pacific coast - from northern California to Oregon. It does not grow far from the sea: it needs a humid climate, so you will not find it further than 30-50 km from the coast.
