What is Brebeneskull and how high is it?

This is a peak in the Chornohora massif with a height of 2038 meters (in some sources - 2032-2035 m). One of the highest mountains in Ukraine, so there will be something to brag about.

Where exactly is the mountain?

On the Chornohora ridge, right on the border of the Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian regions. The Carpathians, as promised.

What does the top look like?

Dome with alpine and subalpine meadows, in places - stony screes. Traces of ancient glaciation have been preserved on the slopes, that is, the landscape here has character.

What is interesting nearby?

To the west of the peak lies Lake Brebeneskul - the highest mountain lake in Ukraine. The river of the same name originates from it, so there are three names here.

How to get to the top?

There are several marked trails leading to the mountain, the road takes from about an hour to seven and a half - depending on the route. The nearest village is Bystrets in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
