A weekend trek to the highest peak of the Carpathian Svydovets ridge. The route is short but with a decent elevation gain, close to the road and transport - a great option to stretch your legs and head into the mountains for the weekend.

1 Day 1. Ivano-Frankivsk - Keveliv - Trufanets meadow
Group meeting at 11 am at the central station of Ivano-Frankivsk. The instructor provides food and rental equipment (you need to order it in advance). We get into the transport (depending on the size of the group) and go to Transcarpathia through the Yablunytskyi Pass. The hike begins at the tiny village of Keveliv (altitude 580 meters). We put on our backpacks and begin the climb. The trail goes through a coniferous forest along the Gropinets stream. We set up camp at the upper border of the forest, at an altitude of about 1300 meters.
Auto - 120 km, 2 hours. Walking - 7 km, 4 hours. Elevation gain - 700 m.
2 Day 2. Mount Bliznitsa - Svidovets Range - Kvasy
Today we have a very long journey ahead of us, so we start as early as possible. We continue the climb - we need to gain about 400 meters more and walk more than 2 km to the top. The trail goes to the west, goes around the Trufanets meadow and climbs to the highest point of the Svidovets ridge - Mount Bliznitsa 1872 m. We will go down another way - along the treeless South-Western spur of the Svidovets ridge. We pass intermediate peaks - Malaya Bliznitsa (1566 m) and Pereslup (1452 m). As a result, we go out to the village of Kvasy (Trostyanets) and leave for Ivano-Frankivsk. There is a railway and a station in Kvasy, so in some cases it is convenient to leave here by train.
Auto - 120 km, 2 hours. Walking - 16 km, 8 hours. Height difference - 1300 m.
Trip conditions
Accommodation. We spend the night in tents in sleeping bags. All necessary equipment can be rented from us (or you can bring your own).
Power. The instructor purchases the products and distributes them among the participants at the beginning of the tour. The guide will have boilers, a burner and everything necessary for cooking with him.
