Russian special forces in Crimea.

Russian special forces in Crimea.

Recently a series about Russian special forces was shown on TV. I wasn’t too impressed by the series, but I liked the familiar landscapes. Central Asia and Afghanistan were filmed... of course in Crimea. The special forces ran after the Mujahideen through cave cities, the canyon of the Kachi River and other picturesque places of Crimea. By the way, we must give credit to the director for his sense of humor - in one of the episodes, approximately the following dialogue took place between the special forces:
- So this is what Asia you are!!!
- And in my opinion it is very similar to Crimea
- Yes? Never been there:(
This is not the first time that Crimea has been transformed on screen and played the role of distant countries. It's more like a tradition. The Caucasus was filmed here in Prisoner of the Caucasus, Afghanistan in the 9th Company, Italy in the History of Poisoning, South America in Hearts of Three (or Four?).
Filmmakers are attracted by beautiful landscapes and the proximity of “civilization.” Us too:)
