Who built it and when?

The Genoese, who captured Sudak in 1365, and for almost a hundred years, from 1371 to 1469, made efforts for fortifications. Before them, the mountain was owned by the Polovtsy and the Golden Horde, and some buildings are attributed to the Romans in the 4th century.

Since 2014, it has been a separate museum-reserve of the Sudat Fortress. Entrance is paid, enter through the Main Gate.
