What are mosquito nets and where is it?

This is a mountain village in the Strya valley, Sambir district of Lviv region. It lies at an altitude of about 677 meters and is surrounded by mountains on all sides, so the scenery here is the main entertainment.

What mountains can be seen around?

The village is surrounded by Zeleni (877 m), Kichera (793 m) and the highest nearby - Magura (1013 m). The valley is cut by the river Stryi and streams Zhivni and Rig.

How to get here?

The nearest railway station is Nizhnya Yablunka, it is 19 km away. From the city of Turka - about 25 km. Be prepared that the last part of the road is mountainous.

Is there anything to see here besides the panoramas?

The wooden church of St. Nicholas of 1817 stands in the village. And the history of the place goes deeper: bronze weapons and Roman coins were found here, the first mention is in 1493.

When is the best time to go?

For the sake of views of the mountains and the valley, it is worth catching clear weather in the warm season. It is changeable in the mountains, so take warm clothes even in summer.
