Kutlakskaya Bay
FAQFrequently asked questions
What is this bay and where to look for it?
Kutlatsk Bay is a part of the Black Sea on the southern coast of Crimea, in the Feodosia district. Sandwiched between Cape Ai-Foka and Mount Karaul-Oba, the landscape here is guaranteed not to be flat.
Why does she have so many names?
In addition to Kutlatska, it is also called Veselivska bay and even Little Captain's bay. Do not be alarmed if it is signed differently on different maps - it is all the same place.
How to navigate the area?
The bay lies south of the village of Kutlak (also called Vesele). The Kutlak River flows into it, so the village and the river are your main landmarks.
What to pay attention to nearby?
Mount Karaul-Oba on one side of the bay is a natural dominant that is difficult to miss. The coast here is mountainous, so comfortable shoes will come in handy more than beach flip-flops.
