Do you know what was missing?

Do you know what was missing?

📍 Turkey 🗓 2019 ✍ Natalia Overchenko

Do you want to get away from routine, get rid of human fuss?! Then you are on your way with the Outdoor Ukraine travel club! In 9 days I visited 4 seasons! There was a warm sea, there was torrential rain, there was snow, there was a strong wind, there was a gentle sun! But the most important thing was the warmth! We walked along paths, roads, climbed rocks, splashed through puddles and got stuck in red clay! We watched sunsets and sunrises!

We enjoyed the endless sea from a bird's eye view. We saw all the colors of nature. We wandered through the ancient ruins of cities, looked at the tombs, visited the amphitheater) To see all these delights you had to walk, follow paths one after another, sometimes climb, stumble, cling to steep stones so as not to fall into the abyss, pull a heavy backpack behind your back... and find delights in the fact that at a rest you throw off all the weight from your back, take off your sneakers and you feel pleasant bliss!

And these evenings....you won’t see so many stars anywhere else! A fire, a pleasant friendly atmosphere... and porridge:) I have never eaten such delicious food! This is a culinary masterpiece! Tea with 1.5 slices of chocolate:) And in the morning you sleep sweetly and hear the caring voice of instructor Kirill - “We wake up, the porridge is getting cold”...

Do you know what was missing?! It was not enough to be completely delighted to get lost in this wild nature, lose the path and dissolve! But this is not with Kirill! He's too prepared (shabby). And he knows the route, and knows where the sources are, and how to make fire in a rainstorm, and also knows how to make porridge from an ax. In general, don't even think about it. Get up and go! This is a complete reboot and brain explosion! Thanks to the Outdoor Ukraine Tourist Club and a special bow to Kirill Yasko for the impressions and relaxation!

Instructor's note: As you already understood from the photographs, Natalya went on this hike with her 10-year-old son (Dima, hello!). And it was a real feat, I tell you. When you go to the mountains with a child, you have to carry things for both yourself and the child. As a result, Natalya’s backpack was really heavy - more than 20 kg. As far as possible, we (the male half of the group) tried to lighten her load and Dima’s backpack, but this does not change the essence - it was definitely a feat. The weather was also not kind to us, and the same change of seasons could throw even more experienced tourists out of balance. And Natasha and her son held on. I respect that kind of determination and am glad we got to travel together. See you on the trail!
