First diving festival Crimea 2006 along the route: Sevastopol - Cape Tarkhankut - Sudak
Day 1: July 27 – Festive opening of the festival in Sevastopol. Exhibition of programs of Crimean diving clubs, preparation for the competition of underwater routes in Sevastopol, Cape Tarkhankut and Sudak, exhibition of underwater photographs and Sevastopol. Presentation of the underwater museum in Balaklava.Days 2, 3: July 28-29 – Diving in the waters of Sevastopol and Balaklava.
Competitive routes of Sevastopol presented for the festival:
1. Underwater Sevastopol - dive sites from Cape Khersones to Cape Aya.
2. Expeditionary dives with the participation of underwater archaeologists: sunken cities, excursion to underwater Chersonesos.
3. Bays of Sevastopol. Sevastopol Bay, Karantinnaya, Omega, Cossack, Kamyshovaya - underwater and surface excursion around the Sevastopol bays.
Dives are carried out from the shore, boats and boats.
In the evening - Competition of video films dedicated to the underwater world of the Black Sea. Disco and competitions: badi, swimsuit carnival, and photos “Diver on vacation”
Day 4: July 30 – Historic day in the history of the city – Fleet Day, parade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Festive procession - parade in the city, folk festivals, concert on Nakhimov Square. In general, a holiday!
Excursion on diving topic: school of divers of the Black Sea Fleet, fortifications of Sevastopol, excursion around the Sevastopol Bay.
For those who want to dive - a full day of diving in Balaklava.
The Sevastopol roadstead will be closed from 7.00 – 14.00 - naval parade.
Days 5, 6, 7: August 1 – 3. The Festival’s mobile camp goes on a hike to Cape Tarkhankut. Those who want to continue their vacation in Sevastopol continue to actively dive and have fun. The program is rich in both dives and shore programs.
Diving on Tarkhankut - the competition of underwater routes continues.
Dive plan: 2 underwater museums at Cape Tarkhankut, the most beautiful Tarkhankut sites.
Diving on sunken ships in the area of Lake Donuzlav and Evpatoria.
In the evening - seminars on underwater archeology, a reef building course, festivals and a disco.
Day 8: August 4 – The diving festival moves to Sudak. Concert at the embankment disco.
Days 9, 10: August 5-6. Diving - route competition continues in Sudak: In the evening - underwater archeology seminars, reef building course, festival and disco.
Day 10, August 6 Closing of the festival. Presentation of prizes. Diver competition for the most exciting underwater route of Sevastopol, Cape Tarkhankut and Sudak.
