What is Geiranger Fjord and where to find it?
This is a 15-kilometer long branch of Sturfjord in western Norway, in Mere og Romsdal county. Approximately 200 km to the north-east of Bergen and 280 km to the north-west of Oslo - that is, we still have to get there.

How to cross the fjord?
There is a daily ferry between the village of Geiranger and Hellesult - it crosses the fjord along its entire length. The laziest and at the same time the best way to see everything.
What to see besides water and rocks?
The fjord museum with the natural history of the region operates in the village of Geiranger. And on the rock ledges, abandoned farms have been preserved, which were once only accessible by special ladders - the farmers were clearly not afraid of heights.
