Day by dayItinerary

Day 1. Larnaca, Salt Lake

Meeting the group at Larnaca airport. The daily routine may vary depending on the arrival time of participants. Our campsite is located just 10-15 minutes walk from the airport, so even if you arrive very late, there will be no problems getting there.

Today you can walk around Larnaca, see the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque and other attractions of the city, sit in a cozy cafe, swim in the sea, We spend the night in tents on the shore of Salt Lake.

Day 2. Cavo Greco Nature Reserve, General's Beach

We meet the sunrise on the shores of Salt Lake, have breakfast, pack our things, get into the car and set off on a 70 km (about an hour) journey to Cape Greco.

Here we will take a walk through the Cavo Gkreko nature reserve. We will see the ruins of the Temple of Aphorodite, walk along the Cyclops path to the Cyclops cave, see the Church of St. Anargyri, the Blue Lagoon, the bridge of lovers. We'll stop by Ayia Napa: we'll see a 16th-century Venetian monastery and the Church of St. Lazarus.

We get into the car and drive about 100 km to General Beach, this is a unique beach with black volcanic sand, where we will stop at a campsite for the night.

Day 3. Troodos

In the morning we pack our things and get into our cars and drive about 100 km to the Monastery of St. John Lampaditis (Lampaditis), on the way we will stop in Limossol and see the Limassol Castle, the Temple of Apollo of Hylates, the Monastery of St. George Alamanu.

Before going on a walk around Olympos, we will stop at the Kykkos Monastery, where the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary of Kykkos is kept. We will also conquer Olympos and admire the beautiful scenery from the observation deck.

We will stay overnight at the Troodos campsite.

Day 4. Caledonia and Kantara waterfalls, Venetian bridges

In the morning we will have a short drive, about 26 km, to the village of Faini, from where we will go on a walking tour to the Kantara waterfall, and then to the Caledonia waterfall.

Then we have another short drive 25 km to the Venetian bridges. In the shade of olive trees near the Diarizos River we will find the Kelefos, Elia and Roudia bridges, lost in time.

We will stay overnight at a campsite near the town of Polis, driving about 85 km

Day 5. and 6. Polis, Akamas Peninsula

During these few days, you and I will not have any special car journeys; we will mostly be walking on our own, exploring the surrounding area and enjoying nature, the sea and the sun.

We will take a walk around Polis. And we will begin to explore the Akamas Peninsula, walk along the path of Aphrodite and Adonis, see the baths of Aphrodite, the Bay of Fontana Amarosa (Fountain of Love), the Blue Lagoon, Lara beach with sea turtles, Avakas Canyon.

All our overnight stays are planned at a campsite near Polis

Day 7. Pathos

Moving 37 km and we are with you in Paphos

Royal Tombs, Kato Paphos Archaeological Park, Paphos Castle, Underground Church of St. Solomonia, a beautiful old port. We will see the rock and beach of Petra tou Romiou, also known as Aphrodite's rock, according to legend, the birthplace of Aphrodite - this is not a complete list of what we are exploring today.

Moving 100 km and we are back at the campsite on General's Beach

Day 8. Larnaca, Nicosia

Today we are returning to Larnaca, but on the way, if the flight time allows, we will stop by Nicosia and walk around the city and its surroundings. If there is no time, then we go to Larnaca, buy souvenirs and go home
