Tours to Nepal

Tours to Nepal

The OutdoorUkraine travel club has been organizing active tours to Nepal since 2009. On the route, the group is accompanied by an experienced Russian-speaking guide who has been to Nepal several times, and several Nepalese (porters, assistant instructors). Our guide solves all issues that arise during trekking - books accommodation, organizes transport, helps order food in lodges, communicates with Nepalese porters. Therefore, tourists do not need to know English to participate in a trek in Nepal.

Upcoming tours to Nepal is not difficult!

Contrary to popular prejudice, in order to go to the Himalayas it is not at all necessary to be a “monster” of tourism or a master of sports in mountaineering. On the contrary, thanks to the developed infrastructure and good trails, crowds of European pensioner grandmothers and hundred-year-old Japanese with cameras at the ready walk around Nepal. Why are you worse than German grandmothers? You don't need a visa to Nepal, you can buy tickets on sale, you probably already know how to walk:) And our instructors will provide the rest.

How is trekking in Nepal different from hiking?
  • No need to carry a tent - all overnight stays are in comfortable shelters
  • No need to carry or prepare food - shelters provide excellent food
  • You can hire a porter, give him your already light backpack and walk lightly, admiring nature.
  • Hot shower almost daily
  • Trekking in Nepal: snow trail at an altitude of 4000 meters
  • The most popular trekking destinations in Nepal are the Everest and Annapurna regions. We regularly (several times a year) conduct trekking along the three most popular routes discussed below. We can organize more exotic tours on request (for a group size of 6 people).

  • Getting to know Nepal.

  • 15 days, $1150, difficulty level - low. Tour program: treasures of the Kathmandu Valley + easy trekking in the foothills of the Himalayas + Phewa Lake in Pokhara + rafting on the Trisuli River + safari in the Chitwan Nature Reserve Hiking experience is not required. The maximum altitude on the route is 3200 meters.

  • Sunset over the jungle - Chitwan, Nepal
  • Annapurna Base Camp

  • 15 days, difficulty level - medium. The classic trek to Annapurna Base Camp passes through all climatic zones - from jungles to glaciers. This is the most popular of our Nepal tours. Maximum height - 4200m.

  • Annapurna tour
  • Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lake.

  • 21 days, difficulty level - high. The maximum altitude on this trek is 5500m. Excellent trails, real highways, lead to the base camp of Chomolungma. If it were not for the lack of oxygen, then walking along them would be a piece of cake. So, get ready for altitude sickness - be patient.

  • When to go to Nepal?

The tourist season in Nepal lasts only a few months a year. In the Himalayas, the most favorable weather for travel and trekking occurs in April-May and October-November. In spring there is more snow here, but you can catch the rhododendron blooming season. In autumn the weather is a little more stable and there is much less snow on the high mountain passes. Our hiking schedule includes both autumn and summer tours to Nepal. It's your choice:)

  • tours to Nepal - blooming rhododendron forest
  • At the end of May, the rainy season begins in Nepal, which lasts throughout the summer. Real tropical downpours hit the ground every day - traveling in such conditions is not very comfortable. During the winter months the mountains are very cold and the passes are often blocked due to heavy snowfalls.

  • March - Rhododendron blooms in Nepal
  • Sights of Nepal.

After trekking in the Himalayas, you have time not only to buy souvenirs but also to explore the cultural attractions of Nepal. Here is just a short list of the treasures of this amazing country, which in one form or another are included in our programs:

    • Buddhist stupa Boudhanath
    • Monkey Temple in Kathmandu
    • Shiva Temple and Crematorium at Pashupatinath
    • House of the Living Goddess Kumari at Durbar Square in Kathmandu
    • Royal Square in Patan
    • Bhaktapur

    Reviews about tours to Nepal.

If you are still in doubt, read the reviews of our tourists about adventures in Nepal. At the same time, you’ll figure out which route to choose and what you need to prepare for.

I sincerely wish those who have been to the mountains at least once to end up in the Himalayas! Friends, you won't regret it! Once there on a hike, you will still remember my words! After all, this is the country that turns a lot of things around in our heads, and probably everyone has their own: you begin to look at life differently, overestimate it and love it even more for its abundance, beauty and uniqueness! And today the Himalayas beckon me again, I want to be in this AMAZING WORLD again someday, in the near or distant future!

Now, the fact that we went there seems so irrational. In our gray cities, under the patter of autumn rains, the uniform hum of public transport and the quiet, barely audible rustle of falling snow, it is so difficult to imagine that somewhere there life is not crammed into a tight framework, but continues to be the same as it was a hundred and even a thousand years ago. We dreamed about our trek for a long time; the Himalayas did not want to let their pilgrims go, even after we had already become accustomed to the rituals of city life. But we know that we will return there to once again become part of something that is so difficult to explain in words.

The main impression is that Nepal blows your mind and tears your soul into pieces. You just need to visit there! No words or pictures can even come close to conveying THIS! Just go there and walk on foot with a backpack without porters along the paved paths at least up to the height of the base camps - there you will understand where extreme sports stand out) Yes, you don’t even need this - just fly to Kathmandu and walk around the city. Believe me it's fun!

This is exactly why you should go to Everest - to understand that these mountains cannot be conquered, and to believe that everything here depends only on you is unacceptable, sometimes cruelly punishable arrogance. One of the strongest climbers, Anatoly Boukreev, said that mountains are not a stadium where you can indulge your ambitions. And this is true. Above is a whitish sky. Huge, blue-white blocks look at you from all sides. And the silence is such that it hurts your ears and, according to the principle of communicating vessels, you feel empty inside. And then you realize how full you are inside. And what:)

Leaving Nepal, you understand that you will never accept their way of life, their way of thinking. And at the same time, you passionately want to return here, if only to eat incredibly spicy rice, and take another look at the two-pointed peak of the unconquered sacred Mount Machapuchare.
